Mystery doors of life
The key to which is in our hands
Some unfastened by curiosity
Few through diligent toil
As for the others,
An unforeseeable venture into the unknown.

More and more doors swing ajar
Education, friendship, career, love, marriage,
Yet not all doors are meant for us
Some unlocked ones ought to be locked forever.

Mystery doors of life
The product of our decisions
An untrodden path to the inevitable future
Where fortunate ones get to make amendments
And the rest surrender at destiny’s feet
On and on, we proceed
Until the last door is shut behind.
